This Week on StrengthCoach.com

First up is an article from site member Rob Williams titled Should Sprinters Squat. This is another piece in the “1 or 2 leg debate”. Next up is a piece you might find interesting. I titled it Michael Boyle- Banned by the NSCA.

Last up is another article along the same lines as Rob’s from site member Karsten Jensen called Mike Boyle Says the Squat is Dead is He Right? I don’t think I agree with this one but, I don’t want to be like the NSCA and only provide a forum for those I agree with. Lets see what you guys think.

Video of the Week

First off, sorry that last week’s video was a duplicate. I post so much stuff I forget what I posted. This weeks video is a peak into an MBSC staff meeting. Kevin Larabee has been filming and editing some of our on-the-floor sessions. This one is Teaching the Clean. Some of you may have already seen it as it hit the forum as soon as it was up on YouTube. You guys are like detectives.

As always don’t forget to check out the StrengthCoach Podcast at  www.strengthcoachpodcast.com.  Also, make sure you check www.strengthcoachblog.com.  We also just filmed a new webinar, Designing Strength Training Programs, for www.strengthandconditioningwebinars.com This webinar clarifies some of the differences in programs depending on the number of days (2, 3 and 4) and clientele (athletes or general population).

Also Anthony just added Dr. Ken Cieslak on “Soft Tissue Therapies”.  Dr. Cieslak will be looking at the different modalities of soft tissue therapy from a presentation he first did for the NSCA.

Remember, CEUs are now available for 4 webinars.  You can get to the quizzes on the Member Home Page under Resources.

Site Notes

Just a reminder, as always the articles and videos go up over the course of the week. Generally one each day.  Only one article mentioned on this email will go up on the day you receive this email. Please let us know via the forum if there are things you want to see.

Also, your credit card statement will show a charge from RylanLee.com, not StrengthCoach.com. Hope you enjoy the week.
