The Past Week on StrengthCoach.com

In case you didn’t notice I am now sending this email at the end of the week instead of the beginning. I think this might prompt more people to visit more often, we’ll see.  One new development that has come from your feedback is that I have requested some of our more learned members spend some time on the beginner forum. My friend Kyle from NJ pointed out that some beginner posts go unanswered so I have asked some of the folks who frequent the forum to help out. I think you will see even better results than before.

First up was an article from my Articles to be Finished file. Anthony Renna will be happy to know I finished one. Mike Boyle Likes Turkish Getups looks at three reasons why I’ve grown to like the Getup. The second is a great one from Carson Boddicker. Alleviating Ailing Ankles Part 2 is a follow up to one Carson wrote for the site a while ago. Last up is a great article from Jeff Higuera called A Touching Reality. This one really made me think.

Video of the Week

This weeks video is another peek into an MBSC staff meeting. Kevin Larabee continues to film and edit some of our on-the-floor sessions.

We are also going to feature some video jukeboxes we have put together. I don’t think enough users visit the video library so we are going to feature some videos from there.

As always don’t forget to check out the StrengthCoach Podcast at  www.strengthcoachpodcast.com.  Also, make sure you check www.strengthcoachblog.com.  Anthony posted a new webinar this week from Alwyn Cosgrove:

“Designing Effective Semi-Private Training Programs” With the current economy, a lot of trainers have embraced and

transitioned to a semi-private training option within their businesses.

The next question is “how do you actually deliver great results in a semi-private situation and how do you design programs?” Alwyn will cover the biggest mistakes in designing semi-private training programs (and how to avoid them) and will teach the Results Fitness method of program design for semi-private and small groups.

Remember, CEUs are now available for 4 webinars.  You can get to the quizzes on the Member Home Page under Resources.

Site Notes

Please let us know via the forum if there are things you want to see.

Also, your credit card statement will show a charge from RylanLee.com, not StrengthCoach.com. Hope you enjoy the week.

Pat- I can do that now that we are doing the end of the week vs. the beginning. I’ll give it a try.

  2. Mike thanks for summarizing like this. Would love to have your articles linked right from the blog as opposed to tracking the stuff down. Thanks for listening
