Meghan Duggan, one of my hockey players,  is one of 10 finalists for the 2011 Sportswoman of the Year, presented by the Women’s Sports Foundation. This is an extremely prestigious award that spans all sports and all countries. Meghan would become just the second ice hockey player to win the award! Jessie Vetter won it in 2009. A win by Meghan would be huge for women’s hockey in the US.
