Maria- we change the TRX’s as they age. Generally the handles have gone before the webbing. Luckily we have not had one break.

Great point to never use home made equipment. A rowing club that I used to race with had a home made chin up bar. One day the welds let go while a guy who was about 58 was cranking out some chin ups – fractured his pelvis. Sometimes the TRX makes me nervous – thinking if one of those let go. How often do you switch yours out at MBSC?
