On Your Mark, Get Set, Ouch

I promise this is the last one ( at least for this week). This blog is becoming more and more like Jackass. The key to this one is to watch the trainer. Todays lesson is liability. Never use homemade equipment unless you only train yourself. You have to click the link.

Maria- we change the TRX’s as they age. Generally the handles have gone before the webbing. Luckily we have not had one break.

  2. Great point to never use home made equipment. A rowing club that I used to race with had a home made chin up bar. One day the welds let go while a guy who was about 58 was cranking out some chin ups – fractured his pelvis. Sometimes the TRX makes me nervous – thinking if one of those let go. How often do you switch yours out at MBSC?
    Cheers.
