PT Friends- Looking for an Article?
I’m trying to find the following article:
The Recognition and Management of the Pelvic Component of Low Back and Sciatic Pain
Richard Erhard and Richard Bowling
If you look it up on the internet and click on it a different article comes up. I need a clean copy or a PDF. I’d be glad to pay any cost involved in obtaining it.

is this it? http://ptjournal.apta.org/content/75/6/470.full.pdf+html?sid=4afaf28f-f3c0-4df3-b221-d88ae73180aa
It’s the closest I could find. Otherwise it looks like you need to take the previous advice. I don’t think it’s the exact article you are looking for but maybe the right direction? I’m a sucker for research but I couldn’t find much except snippets.

Thanks Meaghan. I’m hoping someone has a copy. Wishful thinking?

The citation for the article is as follows.
Erhard, R., & Bowling, R. (1977). The recognition and management of the pelvic component of low back and sciatic pain. Bulletin of the Orthopaedic Section, American Physical Therapy Association, 2(3), 4-15.
Most likely the article is to old (1977) or not scanned appropriately to be found on the internet. Head over to a local college medical library or public library. You should be able to pull up past issues of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Bulletin of the Orthopaedic Section – and if you can’t find it, I believe the librarians have a network they can work through to find it.
Hope this helps.
