Another Great Read for Hockey Parents

Should you let your child play up? My friend and colleague Kevin Kneeld made a great point in a recent article. If your child is not one of the five best players on his or her team either keep them where they are or, move them down. Yes, I said down. The key to hockey success ( and really any sports success) is the development of offensive skill. You won’t do that chasing the puck ( or the ball in some cases)

This also applies to fencing. I see too many fencers attending tournaments that are way of their head. We at NEFA are interested in our fencers developing at their own speed, having fun doing so and enjoying the journey.
