Great read. I believe that becoming a team player begins at a young age. Aside of being a team player, I have noticed that leadership has began to dissipate now days. With all of the focus on good sportsmanship, are children still being taught to be leaders? I believe that this is a very important part of athletics, and if it isn’t continuing to be taught, then children will grow without knowing how to lead. Teammates always look for leadership. So, with the importance of team playing, where might leadership fit in?
